The microphone itself is exceptional! But I would really much prefer not having to download a separate app for using it… also: downloading Videos from the app to my camera roll randomly stopped working. I had to use a more complex way of doing it by using the Notes app on my iPhone. But still: the videos I took with the microphone are amazing!

The SmartMike+ works excellent as advertised. What isn't advertised is the ability to plug in an external mic like my Rode's shotgun or Sony Lavalier. I use the EBEETECH 2 in 1 3.5mm Headphone Splitter Adapter (Microphone + Audio) Female to Male&Male to Female Stereo Jack Y Cable to break out the headphone from the mic inputs; and it works perfectly as a Bluetooth transmitter to my phone! Fantastic for gimble work or when you don't want to mic the talent.

I love how this connects to my iphone. It's very simple - and it works flawlessly. I use my iPhone for all my Youtube uploads. The video quality is excellent, but it was difficult finding the best audio solution. Sabinetek is the solution! Excellent sound using the SmartMike+, when you're using Filmic Pro sound recording is at 16 bit maximum - which is ok for most recordings. This is a great microphone solution

The sabinetek Bluetooth mic was a good purchase
What is good about it:
* The sound quality is excellent. It detects instruments and voices very well.
* The advanced settings in the app are very good to control the audio quality and background noise reduction
* It is extremely lightweight and easy to carry around.
What could improve:
* It was very disappointing to learn that I can only use the sabinetek mic in its app. It does not work on native video recording apps nor for live streaming on social media.
* Also, I can not listen to pre-recorded videos in the app using other Bluetooth headphones. It only works with the sabinetek one. So I have to export all of them to the phone media library.
* While using the mic, it disconnects constantly from the phone, stopping the video recording. Maybe it is because the battery was low, but it is hard to tell since the app interface does not make it very clear.
* The app could have more video filters.

A great microphone that is leaps and bounds ahead of my phone and tablet built in microphones and being Bluetooth super simple to use. Depth and clarity is truly staggering. Only complaint is that when it is on it does take over audio out so if left on then Bluetooth speakers did not work.

I got the SmartMike+ because I like to do vlog style videos and product reviews and I have to say that this is the best wireless mic for what I do. It’s so simple and easy to use with the iOS app. The audio quality is just amazing! I couldn’t believe how good the sound recording came out. Highly recommend for vlogging or video content creators.

I love this small microphone and its app. It's very easy to set up, use and I can take it with me anywhere! I plan on taking it with me to the beach to record some ukulele videos soon. I've loved using it so far and can't wait to experiment more with the settings in the app!

This is the additional evaluation. I have friends who are very IT savey, we got the apps down loaded, the microphone's work great. It is small, it is simple, it has no controls to mess with. Having two, one becomes a backup for the other if necessary. I will give it five stars. If it dies tomorrow, I will write another revies.

I was a bit skeptical, all the hype is true. You get what you pay for. I am pleased it works flawlessly with my Android phone and I-Pad. the quality of the audio is very good. the little mics are a powerful package, keep them charged and you can go for hours and hours.

I love the size and ease at which it connects to my devices. On my iPhone it requires an specific app but it connects easily via Bluetooth to my windows pc and I can use it for video conferencing.

the mic is good, recorded sound is great but the only issue I have is that I am forced to record video with the mics APP and I cannot film in 60fps. In any case the additional directional mic broke instantly when I tried to take it out from the main mic.

The mic work well with the app and the insta360 one r too. Is light and small, the audio quality is quite good and with the app you can choose a lot of setting, I like the possibility with the app to use external/internal mic or both. Without app there isn't settings. I would have preferred the settings on the app to be stored to work with other apps or devices as well. All in all a good product.

Bought this as a second unit so I could pair them in M/S mode. Sent an email to support to verify that purchasing them separately would work. I did not get a response so I purchased the second one anyway. It did work, but it takes several attempts to get them paired in M/S mode. Should be easier the it is.
